TermPIR AL is an insulation panel with a core made of polyisocyanurate foam (PIR) with an aluminium foil facings. PIR is a chemically modified durable polyurethane featuring increased resistance to high temperatures. This product, popular in Europe and around the world, successfully replaces insulation systems based on mineral wool and Styrofoam. It is due to the best thermal performance in this group of building materials, hardness, easy and quick installation process, compliance with fire protection requirements, and all this with a material weight of about 30kg per cubic metre. Precisely milled edges increase thermal insulation, eliminate linear thermal bridge and facilitate installation. The following milling options are available:
TermPIR AL insulation panels can be used for insulating nearly all elements in different types of buildings. Hardness, durability and very low water absorption make them suitable to insulate ceilings, floors and foundations. They can also be applied as durable insulation material for walls and roofs, and loft insulation in residential buildings.
TermPIR AL insulation panel is manufactured in thicknesses from 20 to 250mm. Standard dimensions of a single panel are 600 x 1200 mm and 1200 x 2400 mm. It is also possible to produce panels in sizes 1000x1200mm, 1200x1200mm, 1200x1800mm and 1200x3000mm.
Panels are packed into packages, while packages are stacked. Standard package height is 500mm. Number of panels in the package depends on the panel thickness. Details are to be found in the table below (for panel 600x1200).
