Dimensioning

The actual dimensions should be precisely checked when planning the purchase of the garage door: 

W   - opening width after its finish

H    - opening height after its finish

RS  - right jamb (side room) 

LS   - left jamb (side room)

HR  - headroom

D    - garage depth 

door order width (W) = garage driveway opening width after its finish
door order height (H) = garage driveway opening height after its finish

Measurements must be taken for finished walls and floors.
 

It must be checked if there are any obstacles around the planned garage door which prevent the installation or
its trouble-free operation (e.g. ceiling beams, pipes, windows, doors opened inwards) 

When configuring the garage door the manufacturer chooses guide rails and the balancing system:

• the choice of the balancing system depends on the door dimensions and weight
• the choice of the guide rails and balancing system location depends on the header height
